Programme Introduction

The aim of the study program is to train economic professionals who, with their financial, economic and scientific literacy, are able to think independently, creatively and with an economist’s approach, to manage and analyse financial processes of the economy at both macro and micro levels, with their theoretical, methodological and practical knowledge that is modern and of high quality, competitive even in international comparison. With their business and methodological knowledge, their consciously developed managerial skills and abilities, they will be able to perform financial tasks in various areas of national and international economic life, in the public and private sectors, and to process and enrich the financial literature.

4 semesters = 120 credits

Language requirements of the course

Accepted proof of proficiency: FCE or CAE, IELTS 6+ or TOEFL 79+

​​​​Certificate of secondary education accomplished in English may also be taken into account.

Bachelor’s degrees from English-speaking countries are also acceptable.

Applicants need to present an official (duly signed and stamped) justification that the medium of instruction for the applicant’s entire study programme was English.

Entry qualification

15-20 minutes long online interview (Teams link)

The Centre for International Relations will contact all applicants to set up a suitable time for the online interview (Teams).

Applicants will be interviewed by appointed staff members from the Department. Professors will check the applicant’s preliminary knowledge of the chosen study area, motivation, the language skills and intercultural competences of the applicant.
