Programme Introduction
The purpose of the program is to train environmental engineers who have an up-to-date and applied knowledge of science, ecology, technology, economics and management. They are able to identify environmental risks in different areas, and with their professional experience, to economically and effectively supervise prevention and damage control. Having professional skills, they are capable of participating in the prevention, reduction and removal of environmental hazards and damages, as well as operating low-waste and energy efficient technologies. They are also prepared to continue their studies on the master level.
Graduated students are able to reduce or eliminate environmental harms and damages, to use natural resources reasonably, to develop and to stand-alone operate low-waste technologies.
They are also capable of finding new solutions for recycling waste and disposing hazardous waste.
They possess knowledge about nature and landscape protection and environmental policy as well as being able to work in teams and to communicate with national and foreign experts.
They are suitable for designing, organizing, controlling, and participating in engineering work, and are able to adapt to the ever-changing requirements.
With the acquired knowledge, they will be able to continue the training at MSc level.

Length of program: 7 semesters, 210 credits

Language requirements of the course
Accepted proof of proficiency: FCE or CAE, IELTS 6+ or TOEFL 79+
Certificate of secondary education accomplished in English may also be taken into account.
Bachelor’s degrees from English-speaking countries are also acceptable.
Applicants need to present an official (duly signed and stamped) justification that the medium of instruction for the applicant’s entire study programme was English.
