Programme Introduction

The aim of the Industrial System Engineering (ISE) MSc program is to train engineers who are capable of designing, operating, managing and developing complex industrial production systems, including human, machine, automated equipments, Artificial Intelligent agents, etc., in accordance with the principles of Industry 5.0: human-centricity, sustainability, resilience. Graduates acquire integrated engineering, technological and organizational knowledge that enables them to optimize the use of human, technical, material, energy and information resources. Special emphasis is placed on human-centred system design, sustainability, resilience, safety and data-driven decision-making. Graduates are prepared to perform and coordinate development and innovation activities, manage system-level processes, and produce deep technical analyses and reports on system performance. Upon completion of the master’s program, graduates are qualified to continue their studies within a PhD programme, particularly in the fields of industrial systems, digitalization and human–machine cooperation.
