Programme Introduction

The aim of this programme is to train professionals well-versed in management theory and the model of circular economy. By the end of the course, you will have the confidence to find practical solutions to contemporary problems drawing on your systems-thinking skills. Additionally, you will have learnt the ropes of increasing resource efficiency by looking at the interdependence of raw materials and energy-saving systems. Moreover, you will also acquire competencies related to entrepreneurial management, i.e., planning and analysing the economic processes of various organisations and institutions.

Program content

1st semester: Research methodology and scientific writing; Circular economy; Strategic management; Sustainability; Modern industrial IT solutions; Sustainability in project management; Business law and protection of intellectual property

2nd semester: Renewable energy sources; Waste management – Circular economy; Supply chains, modelling of production systems; Geoinformatics; Managerial skills training; Thesis work I.

3rd semester: Complex analysis of investments; Change management; R+D+I projects and their financing; Corporate and consumer behaviour; Sectoral regional analysis; Thesis work II.

Required language proficiency

  • B2 level English language certificate (TOEFL/IELTS/ESOL/BEC/ECL/PTE/FCE/CAE/TELC/TOEIC/Euroexam) or Attestation of Language Proficiency in the case of former studies in English.

Application criteria

  • Applicants are required to produce evidence of English language proficiency.

Application without precondition

  • Those holding a BA/BSc degree in Business Administration and Management or Technical Manager (or an equivalent degree of higher education) can be accepted to the Master’s program without precondition.

Application with precondition

  • Students holding a degree of any level of higher education (BA/BSc, MA/MSc) except for the above listed programs need to have at least 60 credit points from their earlier studies with the following breakdown:

    • natural sciences (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Ecology) 10 credits
    • business and human knowledge (Economics, Legal studies, Management, Corporate economics, Leadership and management, Project management, Communications, Social sciences, Finances, Logistics, Accounting, Statistics, EU studies, Human Resources, Marketing) 45 credits
    • IT knowledge (IT, Information systems) 5 credits
