This seven-semester degree programme provides students with an in-depth theoretical background in the economic, social and applied economic issues relating to business administration, enabling them to plan and analyse the procedures of business organisations and institutions and perform management, entrepreneurial and organisational tasks. The course provides comprehensive knowledge of leadership skills, controlling, finance, taxation, logistics, and corporate business. This practice-oriented programme enables students to familiarise themselves with actual systems utilised by companies in their day-to-day operations as well as at the strategic and operation levels. Successful students will be equipped with wide-ranging knowledge and relevant experience providing them with excellent opportunities on the labour market in either the governmental or the private sector.
Choose this degree programme if:
You will mainly learn about the functioning of the economy and how to run large companies, businesses and non-profit organisations. You will study both theoretical economics, such as micro- and macroeconomics, and practical business subjects, such as marketing, finance, accounting or human resource management. It will develop your analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; your creativity; and your goal- and market-oriented thinking.
Specialisation:
Business management or Tourism management or sport management specialization is optional from in the 6th semester

You will acquire the knowledge that every business organisation needs. You will learn how to plan the resources needed to run a business, organise and manage people, work processes and machinery to achieve profit, employee satisfaction and social well-being. After completing the degree, you will have access to a wide range of job opportunities, from small businesses to large multinational companies; you can work in the banking sector, municipal/state agencies and non-profit organisations. You can be successful in many areas, e.g. in finance or accounting, logistics, HR, marketing or controlling, or you can set up your own start-up company, where you will be required to work as a one-man or team player in a variety of professional areas.

Admission interview
Online interview: The international office will contact all applicants to set up a suitable time for the online interview. Applicants will be interviewed by appointed staff members from the host department and the international office. Professors will check the applicant’s preliminary knowledge of the chosen study area and motivation. The international office will check the language skills and intercultural competences of the applicant.
Minimum admission requirements: 60 points. (Those applicants who gain less than 5 points in any section of the admission procedure will be rejected
